lET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IN THE GUESTBOOK.
HERE IS THE START OF SOME POLITICAL POETRY. I DONT BELONG TO ANY PARTY AS I BELIEVE THE LONGER A PARTY STAYS IN POWER THE MORE DAMAGE THEY DO. I AM YOUR CLASSIC NEGATIVE VOTE, AS CONSTANT CHANGE IN POLTICS BRINGS ABOUT STABILITY.

What do you care?
Tony Blair
With your expensive suits
and coiffure hair.
Youíve had all the privilege of lifeís excess
and what have you left us in
A bloody mess.
This mess
Youíve created for us
But we make no fuss.
You, like many of the privileged few
Take great thrill in telling us what to do.
Whatever happened to democracy?
With less than 50% of the vote.
We often hear you quote
Education, Education, Education.
Yet you fail to mention
Student fees.
Bringing our children to their knees.
Tough on crime Tough on the causes of crime
But after 9 years
With many of us shedding tears
Caused by criminal intent
Fuelled by no deterrent.
They take whatís not theirs
Trashing our affairs
While all you MPís pontificate
The country slides further into anarchy and hate.
And what of drugs?
As we sit and wonder why
The mothers of druggies sit and cry.
Policy runs contrary to commonsense thought
As the real victims
The losers are given precisely nought
When it comes to tough care
or medical supervision
your policies are nothing but weak submission.
Us ordinary folk donít understand
Why you donít deal with us all with an even hand.
Criminals are not treated with the same firm hand
As our old aged caged
due to lack of money
no longer the land of milk and honey.
As was promised them after two great wars
Itís now convenient that they bolt their doors.

Hidden from society not due to their impropriety.
Shunned by the rest of us
Who donít want them to make a fuss
They canít get about.
No longer able to shout.
At the inequality caused to them
By unfair tax, from the politically correct men.
Men in grey suits
who reap the rewards
of our hard work
while they sit and shirk.
Dreaming up more schemes
to keep us in our place
We have all been hoodwinked
As our wages shrink
As another lie takes hold
When we remember we were told
ďWe wont raise TaxĒ
And Talking of lies
well hereís another surprise
Weapons of mass destruction
Took us blind into Iraq
Without the hint of a plan to get our troops back.
When all the time you seemed so sure
As you took us blindly into war.
So whatís next?
China or Iran,
Oh I forgot its Americas plan.
And donít forget
There are parents who fret
As their loved ones do all they can
to bring peace,
to war torn Afghanistan.
So Tony
I donít want to be moany
But it seems to me
All you sloanies
Are out to get all you can
From us all
The common man.
The saddest thing
I voted you in.
As I wanted a change
So I find it utterly strange
That New Labour
Instead of being a breath of fresh air.
Have shown us all
They really donít care.

Burglar Brown.

Prudence is his name.
But whatís his real game?
Came to power with his best mate Blair.
Both telling us all.
That life would now be fair.

Redressing the balance between.
Have and have-nots.
Stressing key values like
Education, security and health,
Both promising lots with our countries wealth.

Fourth largest economy it was.
Itís just a case of redirecting funds, forgetting incompetently the rules of cause and effect.
Watch my lips there will be no increase in tax.
To pay.
For our agenda of social justice and reform, my god these men know how to perform.
As they strut across the stage getting us to believe in them with a hysterical rage.
Saying the past was so unfair and we are men of the people, who really care.

How many times were we sold that lie?
As we now have to pull in our belts to try
To pay our hyped up council tax
Which is now at the max.

We now find our countries in the red.
Filling us all with an impending dread.
Having squandered the inheritance they were given.
By those mean Tories who didnít care
But whatís the real truth
Listen and I will share.

New Labour, more right wing than Thatcherís lot.
Their working class roots certainly forgot.
As they drive and strive to stay in power.
Whilst the ďmiddle classesĒ cower,
The real joke is it was them that gave them the power in 97 with the promise of our land becoming a heaven.

As government schemes to steal from our earnings
Thereís no taxation without representation!
I wonít bother to mention all the wars
Since they came to the top of the greasy pole
Whilst keeping the rest of us in a bottomless hole.
Whatever happened to an ethical foreign policy?

But I transgress,
We were talking about who placed us in this awful mess
It was burglar brown
With his sidekick Blair
The smiling clown, my god why is this circus is still in town.

Like all circus and fairs
We never see whatís really there
Until we lift the canvass of the big top
To see the reality of what we have really got.
Like most hot dog stalls, the enticing smell
Changes, as you get nearer
Turns putrid as you hand over the cash
Leaving a bitter taste in the mouth
Failing to appease the hunger which originally focused you on their wares.
In truth, New Labour. ( Now thereís an oxymoron)
Came to power with a healthy bank balance.
Created by Tory management.
Using a wealth creation economy
To set our futures free with a can do attitude.
Not hype and platitude.
Now what have we got
A minimum wage which has become the norm, keeping our children in their place.
Now even this is under threat, as EEC workers choose not to accept
the minimum wage, making many of our workers rant and rage as they can no longer pay the bills, that eventually will give these workers their pensions and pills, as they knock on the door of the health service, which they are entitled to do
A system of top heavy management in all of our institutions
Needed to meet inappropriate targets set by inappropriate ministers who have no idea what the real world is like.
Ministers who are trained to say yes, not to cause problems for political correctness.

Next there were student loans
Interest free we were told.
To be paid back when qualified as their prospects would be better.
How dare the political classes force this on the rest of us the working classes.
Having all had the benefit of free higher education with their networking and old boy clubs, they could always go to mummy and daddy for a little sub
When things got tough, if they splashed out on their bit of rough.

Ooops! a fact they all forgot to mention.
Surely this should put them all in detention.
Because they clearly got their sums wrong
As millions of youngster now throng
Into overstretched establishments
No longer able to provide, the quality of learning that gave this country its rightful pride.

Perhaps I am being cynical
As I listen to all this mythical
Talk about an educated society.

When if you look at Labours history it will not be a mystery.
Local authorities banning the ideals of competition in their fight with what they believed was wrong, the gold standard of A levels, and the University system.
They historically have been against promoting competition and aiming high.
Under their doctrine pupils donít reach for the sky.
They are encouraged to reach a mediocrity, which is the greatest pity.

Whatever happened to teaching our children the important things in life
Like being the best you can be, Finding out what you can do, thereís nothing wrong with making hats or shoes.
Learning to cope and understand with failure and success with humility

But what have we now? pure stupidity.
If everyone can go to university, we are saying that those who do not reach that declining standard are second class citizens
And talking of which it wasnít in their manifesto
So why was this education policy rushed through with such haste?
I donít see the Scottís having the same rules and regulations
But they voted it in for all us English .

Oops I forgot to mention.
If you look at the major players in the cabinet they are Scottish.
What did Blair say about an open and transparent government without sleaze whiter than white.
Anyway never mind Blair, as I donít really care he will soon be gone making millions on the American circuit telling people with high opinions of themselves, how good he is.

Back to brown the monetary clown, no I prefer burglar Brown.
Did you know he ripped us all off with his desire to 'steal' the lump sums off all the pension funds.
Left in the banks for security if the economy failed to pay back what they should to hard working members of the public when they reached a just retirement, so it could be faced with joy. not trepidation as in lent.
Having taken this money, billions now I think, the devastation this has caused should be a political stink.

So prudence has screwed up higher education and screwed up our pension, what else is there left they have failed to mention.

How many more days are there to bury bad news, while this politician tries to sell us dubious good news?
Property prices are running away from any resemblance of truth and reality, which is like the government in all reality.
As pensions have crashed, people have invested their hard earned cash in property for the future.
Forgetting the reality of our young who now can no longer aim for what there parents have become a property owning democracy.
Its now just pure hypocrisy as people are forced to lie and cheat about their earnings to get on the property ladder.

We have now gone back to the fifties and sixties when children in there twenties and thirties are forced not to moan
as they are forced to stay at home
as they canít afford to buy their own
as they are burdened by university loan.
They canít even afford to rent as people have invested in ĎBuy to rentí

No wonder Browns greatest fear is that the economy will come crashing down around his ears, with high interest rates perhaps this is why his ex former friend is staying on believing the inevitability wont be long- in coming.
Then he can say it wasnít my fault,
forgetting the PMís title is first Lord of the treasury,
as they are all making hoards of money out of usury.

So I will end this sad litany,
reminding you all of its sincerity
Look behind the headlines in all you see and hear.
Democracy is not a right, it has to be fought for every day and night by challenging what you hear or say from elected politicians who profess to care, but whose track record shows only indiscretion and affairs.

BOTH THESE POEMS WERE WRITTEN OVER TWO YEARS AGO. IVE HAD TO PLACE THEM ON THE GALLERY SIGHT TO TRY AND BRING TO PEOPLES ATTENTION, THE DANGERS OF OUR MODERN DEMOCRACY.
WE NOW MAY BE SEING THE LAST DAYS OF CAPITALISM,DUE TO GREEDY BANKERS, AND PERHAPS WE ARE SEEING THE LAST DAYS OF OUR CURRENT SO CALLED DEMOCRACY, WHICH ALTHOUGH BETTER THAN SOME NOW NEEDS TO CHANGE RADICALLY BEFORE WE HAVE LARGE GROUPS IN OUR SOCIETY DISENFRANCHISED.
aS A RESULT OF MY FRUSTRATION THE NEXT FACE OF MY PAINTINGS WILL BE ON MORE POLITICAL LINES TO IDENTIFY AND SHOW THE INJUSTICES THAT ARE BEING PURSUDE IN OUR NAME.
LOOKING AT THE WORK OF GEORGE GROSZ WILL BE A PLACE WHERE I WILL START DOING MY VISUAL RESEARCH.

RESPECT TO YOU ALL OUT THERE WHO HAVE AN OPEN MIND AND CAN SEE THE REALITY OF CAUSE AND EFFECT.
